As Musicport Festival enters its 26th year, we’re excited to announce our next event will take place on 23rd–25th October 2026 at the iconic Whitby Pavilion. Join us for a weekend filled with extraordinary music, inspiring workshops, and the warm, welcoming community spirit that has made Musicport a must-attend event for quater of a century.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Whitby’s dramatic coastline, Musicport has grown from a local celebration into a nationally acclaimed festival, known for its eclectic mix of world-class artists, immersive cultural experiences, and a commitment to bringing people together through music.From Grammy-nominated acts to captivating performances from around the globe, the festival offers something for everyone. Add to that our family-friendly activities, vibrant marketplace, and the magical ambiance of Whitby Pavilion, and it’s clear why Musicport is a firm favorite among festival goers.

THE TEAM

Who are we? Well, we are you! Most of our core crew have attended or been involved in musicport in some capacity for many years. When our founders, Jim and Sue made the decision to take a step back in 2021 we couldn’t bare the thought of losing our beloved, iconic festival. We decided there was only one thing for it, so we got our heads together, pooled our experience / resources and intend to keep the good ship ‘Musicport’ sailing for as long as we can!
