ALBERT NYATHI & IMBONGI
Albert Nyathi is Zimbabwe's dub poet. a praise poet who in past times would have glorified members of the Royal family in the open veld, in the great meetings, the Indabas, of the many clans
Today Nyathi's poetry fills the halls and stadiums of Zimbabwe in a nation still captured by its poets who tell stories of today . Full of colourful imagery Nyathi captured the hearts and minds of audiences from Hawaii to Japan and has made several UK and Pan European tours.
Uniquely Nyathi has combined his powerful poetry with an equally powerful band to present an electric dance and and upbeat performance every night of multi-talented musicianship. |
